Virgo Coworker Love Triangle

Ok Hi, new to the site and would love some feedback. I've worked with this Virgo male for a year now and we never showed an interest in each other besides friends until recently when he asked me if I wanted to go to the fair with him. Since then he's MENTIONED hanging out and asks me to hit him up when I'm free but when I do he flakes on me. Like the fair. I gave him a date and he said he wasn't free but never rescheduled. So I found out that he asked out this other chick at my office and actually went through with it. But then he decides to tell me about it and talk shit about her and tells me he'd rather cancel his plans with her and hang out with me that night instead. I obviously no longer take his advances seriously and I haven't hung out with him since he flaked on me but I'm just wondering why he's doing this. Is it just an attention thing? He goes back and forth with complimenting my style then criticizing my work ethic and being bossy. He's super hot and cold.

Where do you get "Love Triangle" out of this?? You're friends, he asked you to go to the fair and mentions hanging out again. He's free to take out whoever he pleases. Sounds like you jumped to conclusions sprinkled with expectations and demands. He probably senses it too. That doesn't fly well with Virgo guys. Chill

Well love triangle is a little dramatic but it feels that way since me and this chick are the only women in our 20s at the office and he is asking both of us out. I'm just curious about why he would bring up going out with me on at least 4 different occasions but never set a date when he has already taken this chick out. It feels like an ego boost thing to me. Or why would he tell me about his date? To see if I get jealous? I didn't wanna seem like I was hurt over him not hanging out with me so I told him I hope he has fun. Idk I'm just not sure how to go about this. I feel like now that I know he's gone out with her ill look dumb if I try to hang out with him cuz I'm not sure if he's into me or just wants attention from multiple chicks
