Virgo male Scorpio female?

What is the real deal with the Virgo male-Scorpio female potential/dynamic? The reason I am asking is because I am currently in touch with a Scorpio female via a dating site and am hoping that we can meet soon. She seems nice but I know Scorpios can get pissed off easily and not give you a second chance so I guess I would like some advice on what to do and what not to do to help things turn out well. Some years ago there was a Scorpio lady that I liked but I think I blew it with her before things had even really started by taking too much for granted and trying to force the pace too hard so I suppose I had better not do that this time. But I guess I shouldn't be too passive either. So how can I get the balance right?

I'm the reverse. A Virgo female. But all the Scorpio males I've come in contact with have been magic. I'm a fiery Virgo based on my chart but most of the scorps I have met have fire or air placements. Like Aries or Aquarius rising to my sag. I'm telling you, the intensity and the feeling of true companionship is like no other. Conversation flows freely and it's almost magnetic (in my experience anyway). Hope this helps (:
