Especially when it comes to communicating emotions. Why is every conversation so dry and so substance and I feel like I have to struggle an uphill battle to get a decent response.
He was somewhat better before ...now it's frustrating. This is the 2nd Virgo Moon and seems like they try somewhat at first then efforts go away. At least first one was a Cancer sun, this one is a Cap Sun.

😢 any opinions on this? ty

What was he like before? What is it like now? What happened to trigger the change?

He would communicate a bit more, like msg more, send more pics, and initiate conversation more. Nothing has changed as far as I know. He said he liked me. He communicated better in person, but I feel like he is cold the way he communicates through texts. It's like he won't initiate conversation anymore and his replies are short and vague, and have no depth to them.. blah

If you're trying to force emotion out of the Virgo mooner you'll likely not get any at all. We don't like that.
lol

my father in law a double virgo (sun and moon) i think he's sag rising just by how he loves travel and adventure, and married to a gemini sun,

is a poet and music lover. he expresses his emotions through poetry. He does have Scorpio mercury, mars and venus all in those signs. That might be the reason for his emotional expression.

If Virgo is comfortable with the speed, intensity, and direction of a relationship, some won't be aggressive, but will at least be responsive, show some enthusiasm, and readily offer service. And as long as these conditions are met, we love emotion, why wouldn't we, we wouldn't feel threatened with good times after all.

There is a lot said about having to lead Virgo, but if that brand of leadership includes pressure, force, and becomes at all overbearing, Virgo will back off as quietly, subtly, and impreceptibly as possible. We simply stop making effort, and become avoidant. But if cornered, we will come straight out, figuring there's nothing left to lose. We do like it when others initiate though, who wouldn't, as long as we can retain perogative without a bunch of awkwardness.

We are analytical, and practically no detail is too small to notice, ponder, and file away. And we look way down the road, being aware that if we allow a precedent to become established today, there will be consequences down the road, good or bad. We care about our image but we care even more about not getting into a mess. We much more prefer being fire preventers than fire fighters. We're actually very emotional but we're also very cautious and realize that mistakes cost us very dearly. If we were carpenters, we'd measure a dozen times, and then cut once, correctly. We want to be certain before commiting, even though that can be very difficult without actual and accumulated experience with the relationship. No doubt we have forfeited relationships due to these things, I have, but so far I've been willing to pay that price every single time, hard as it was sometimes.

You may be OK with your Virgo ultimately, but if he's holding back, he's uncomfortable or uncertain about something.

Omg this is the most accurate and concise explanation I've ever read; it makes me realise why i don't give up on my Virgo 🙂

Communication that's a joke!! haha.. Seriously I have a tentative living situation with a Virgo. In the beginning he kept telling me roommates before had left him high and dry. I'm a Leo who has traveled around the world , so I was like " Really? And what did you do to them?"Guess what guys? I never made any solid commitments to be in the space for longer than a month. Because I trust my intuition. He is an a##hole! That's why. After 7 mohs, Ivre seen him exaggerate, plot, criticize and deride me. He completely ignored my birthday. Then I overheard him on the phone, " Oh my room are, she's nice but she' s too strong. She's too independent. She's in her fourties I think, but she looks much younger. Nah, I like young chicks." Well, by the way, I'm 34. He criticized my arms by saying they were big. He's a lazy, arrogant, fat piece of crap! I understand why my friends told me to reassess the situation after each month. And the latest, he got ringworm from someone- he sees a girl who comes over at 2:30 am in the morning. And, on Monday, he blamed me. I have enough money to jet. So I'm just going to tell him exactly what I think of him the minute I have my stuff safely packed out of the apt. And, by the way, he will just move right along like nothing happened and nothing happened to him at all. Because he's cold and indifferent. By the way! he's in his flurries, overweight, and hasn't had a girlfriend in 6 years. He has two dogs whom he spends all his time with. He puts down people who go to bars as if he's holier than thou. Really, then you're so pure, how did you catch ringworm, fool—

They communicate by doing little things you'd never expect. If you don't notice it...they get insulted. They also despise expectations. I see that's something you are showing us. Virgo suns/moons move slowly. Cap sun for sure. Cancer sun lol...yep.

The romantic emotions are reserved for the woman they decide is the "one" 9 times out of 10. It's a slow process, and if you are showing impatience early on, they get turned off and you end up with "dry conversation" with "no substance."
