I have a love/hate relationship with Virgo women...

The best thing that can be said about them is their tendency to be everyone's friend. But the harsh reality is that this is due to their own personal insecurities, rather than their outwardly perceived sociable nature. As a result, their friendliness can come across as fake, after a while.

Also, they're neurotic, highly critical of others (but easily get offended when the tables are justifiably turned) and aren't as open-minded as they'd like others to believe.

And, no, I haven't dated any Virgo women, solely due to what I've witnessed both at work and in social situations.
So where's the love part? Because if the love part was "The best thing" etc...then that was a backhanded compliment so...not really.

No problem with the dislikes but you said love/hate so I'm curious about the likes too.

I'm curious how well acquainted you are with the "harsh reality" of this sign if you haven't dated them or have sustained friendships and are only judging on "work and social situations" environments.

Anyway, some good points.

I'm Lenore...

A Virgo Woman.

How ironic...

That’s my TF’s name and needless to say she’s a Virgo.
I didn’t know the Lenore character till you mentioned her, I’ve just discovered she’s based on Edgar Allan Poe’s poem, it’s funny that you think she’s a Virgo. Funny because I knew instead that Poe wrote a short story titled ‘Eleonora’, I know because I’ve stumbled across that book a few days ago in a bookstore in what I believe was a moment of intense connection with my TF and although I wasn’t intentionally looking for it, given the coincidence, I’ve read a few pages.
First thought reading it?
“This Eleonora is a total Virgo” and it was just pretty evident from the kind of adoration/obsession Poe had towards this woman, who despite her complexity was surprisingly bright and angelic for Poe standards, which makes sense considering Eleonora means ‘light’.
No coincidence I'm sure in the choice of the name.
Then I went home to do some researches and I found out the novel is considered by many to be autobiographical (unnamed narrator lives with his cousin and falls for her), so Eleonora is none other than Virginia, Poe’s cousin as well as his wife. Guess what? I checked her birthday and she was Virgo. So I guess Poe was trying to show in 'Eleonora' the luminous side of a Virgo until, by the end of the story, she starts getting paranoid and self-destructive pondering about death.

I also obviously keep repeating myself "it's all in your head" but I'm not buying it this time😄

Oh wow, it's always cool when we read something online and it hits us in real life..like a sort of epiphany. I had so many coincidences on DXP, and I don't think there are coincidences either. I'm happy if I struck a chord with you and your connection to your TF 🙂

Gotta love mythology...and Poe.

I think he was a man that saw..beyond the years he lived in.
