No, we aren't all like that. Some negative characteristics are just personality flaws. Typically we only shut you out after we've taken a lot of bs and just can't take any more. We ice you out forever. So I don't think her behavior around being mad is about her being an aqua. Also, we are pretty straight forward and blunt like virgos so her giving you the silent treatment doesn't seem too Aqua like either. I'm a Feb Aqua though. They say January aquas are different.
I'd say you know her cards know and know how and when to keep her at arm's length so you don't get caught up in that drama again.

Funny you mention this...
I've always seen Aquarius as troublemakers and tend to keep my distance... The more mature ones usually grow up from this.. Sometimes and is replaced with awkwardness

Us? Troublemakers? I've never heard this. We are the hippies of the zodiac. All about peace and love. ————

d anything about aquas? Seriously, troublemaking is the furthest thing from what we are. Gems, Sags, and Aries maybe. Not aquas.

I work with her and when I was an intern, I found her to be bossy and condescending, but very friendly and charming at the same time. We really got along and she took me under her wing and actually helped convince my boss to hire me.
But then we fell out. She has a reputation for being moody and a couple of coworkers asked me why she's "always so mad" and she overheard me respond that "she just gets that way a lot". So she gave me the silent treatment for 2 weeks until I asked her why, and she exploded about how I talked behind her back. I apologized but I can't help feeling like she overreacted. I resented that she was hypocritical - she told me if I have a problem with her to confront her directly but yet when she had a problem with me, instead of confronting me, she iced me out. And I didn't even really have a problem with her, I was just stating fact, though I understand how it upset her.
So after I apologized she went mostly back to normal. We're not as friendly anymore but we still lunch together and joke around sometimes. But she still comes up to me and other colleagues to gossip about other people and I'm totally perplexed because I don't get how she can't see the hypocrisy in holding a burning, hate-fueled grudge towards me for half a month over gossip while constantly trying to spread it.
I love/hate her. She's super intelligent and generous, and assertive, and a good employee, but she gets offended and moody so easily over petty things and it makes me feel resentment towards her unpredictability and immaturity. Are all Aquarius people like this? How do you interact with them without becoming overly critical or exhausted?
