What was his game....?

Some time ago I had a fixation with a Virgo guy. His signals confused me. He was attentive, flirtatious, downright smutty at times, and when I confronted him, he insisted it was all in my head - even when he indicated he would be going down on me at some point....

We remain friends, though his attentiveness has wained now he is aware I am no longer interested.

All that time he had a girlfriend with whom he kept secret from me.

What was he playing at? Why did he think it was fair to become almost intimate with me, mess with my emotions and then deny it all?

He totally played me. I just don't understand why anyone would do this? It's twisted.

He's 36.

What part did you play in the game?

If you allowed him to make "going down" innuendos without you being insulted, then you were a willing participant in this game of lust.

Without knowing what part you played in the game, there would be no way of knowing why he is in denial.

Just want to clear something up .... from what you wrote, it sounds like he was making sexual suggestions to you, in which you were accepting as emotional interchanges.

And they aren't the same .. his denial of it being emotional is likely accurate. They were sexual, not emotional.

Figure that ^^^^^ out and your confusion will vanish.

I don't think it has anything to do with his particular sign. He may not be happy in his relationship or his current girl has boosted his ego to the point that he thinks it's alright and perfectly okay to go around flirting with others. Or the grass is just greener on the other side.

And I agree with P. If these sexual gestures made you uncomfortable yet you said nothing then you are just furthering his ego. If you didn't feel uncomfortable then same scenario. What happened to the good 'ol slap in the face that you only see in older movies?
