I almost forgot for a second
that the present was precluded
that souls tread on yours before me
laughs were shared, orgasms had
hands held, fights made up

I almost forgot for a second
I only stumbled into
an already lied in bed, a heart ruffled
tears still being shed

I almost forgot for a second
the rain still pours, it pours now
it pours here as it poured then

All I almost forgot taps my shoulder
ghosts of the past
whose presence never left
they can be seen in your eyes
you look for her and only see me

I almost forgot for a second
that I deserve a new page, a new day
I dont deserve to write where
words tell of thir winding tales
of your life.

What limits does selfless love possess

Can you rewire yourself
What will be left of me than
a soul entangled in your neurosis,
insecurities and doubts that you tie me in

Will you then unbreak me?
