How do you like it?

Sometimes when I happen by this part of the forum I read things that members have written. What I would like to know is what I should do with it. At times I come across things that I would otherwise have commented on to others when giving feedback - both good and bad. Question is: how do people view this here? Do you want feedback? What kind of feedback do you want if you want it? Do you want any kind of constructive feedback? Do you prefer the "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all" policy? Or what do you want?

In short, I would like to propose a recommendation to the writing section, that if you write something here, then write in the post(s) if you want feedback and if you do, what kind of feedback you want.

Just a suggestion. What do you think?

I like constructive criticism too, as long as it's honest. I'd much rather listen to brutal, but honest, comments than to dishonest praise.

I honestly wouldn't comment anything I say if it's negative. Sometimes I unintentionally drag people to the pits when they try to help. I'll I also would hold back from saying something negative to my face.

I enjoy annoying the fuck out of people who piss me off. I can't sleep till I force them to ignore my account or leave dxp.

Feel free to give feedback on the thread I created for my writing. I don't really have much structure, I sort of just write.. let the feelings flow. I'm sure there would be a lot to pick apart, but I don't really aim for any sort of structure so no offense taken if you decide to critique. But I really just put it up to share and hope that others may relate to some of it or to spark some feelings within others, not so much for feedback, but please feel free 🙂

Fill your boots. I always like to hear others opinions. I guess I just have never shared my writing with anyone.. ever. This is the only place I've shared anything that I've written.

It can be scary, and some people react in ways that surprise even themselves, when they get feedback. Now, we don't know if anyone is going to get any feedback at all, but, who knows? 🙂

Maybe. I usually don't unless I find something that I feel very strongly about - good or bad - and that would be constructive. So, I guess we'll see. 🙂

Bumping this. What kind of feedback do you want if you want any at all - and please don't ask for it unless you can take it.

I think I only shared a poem I made up on the fly.

For anything I post, all feedback welcome, the more detail the better. I have an inqusitive mind so I can't cope with "It sucked". I need to hear exactly the ways it sucked and how it turned into a vacuum of stupidity and other such terms. Basically, don't be shy in expressing content or discontent.

Seeing as many people have shared some of their work since this thread, I thought I'd bump it.
