Humanity

Cruelty of this humanity,
Can take anyone to insanity.
What if at a moment
You wish to start over?

I got the mind of a child,
My dreams are away a thousand miles,
They try to tear me down,
And beat me to the ground.
.
Humans are just animals,
Attacking you like cannibals.
They got a mask attached to the face,
Which you'll believe until its too late.
.
Trust was poison in my veins,
You actually claimed to be a saint.
The moon took over the sun,
And the life,you all haunt.
.
Lies,leaving your lips,
Smiles,fake on your face,
Hide,away from the truth,
Run,after you destroyed me too.
.
Is this humanity?
Is it insanity?

Your poem really makes one think. Unfortunately it is true and sad at the same time. I enjoyed it though and thanks for sharing!

A pretty realistic poem and also quite sad as well because it's true. I liked it as well, it's very good. But also very sad as Stpatrickspisces said above. 😢

I write a lot of dark poems,which probably may be cause of my not too happy child hood and seeing how fucked up family's can be,and how fake people can be from a very very fragile age.

So,after my next book in november/december will be published,i will post maybe on dxp one of my best and darkest poems on here,but first i shall finish the book.And i also changed my writing style ,aka : i don't write poems with only 4 verses,now they are from 9 up to 11-12.
