A flickering flame you fan
burns a million marshmallows,
Giving charred remains of passion
that blacken the night.
An entwined other summons the lover
to wrap-up in the darkened goo

Why am I here when you are not. If I couldn't have you I'd rather be alone, just to never forget how you feel, even if it's pain.. even if it's the only thing. With all this time wasted without purpose of being, even the fondest memories grow distant and cold.
