So if the Sun were 4 degrees and the Mercury is like 26 in the same sign, is that still conjunct?

is not an aspect, but having the same kind of energy in X planets can be soothing, in fact better depending on the planet itself. a conjunction with saturn or pluto is not really a positive influence lmao

no

aspects need to be within a certain amount of degrees. i’ve read about 1-4ish degrees.

there can be out of sign conjunctions

like a 29 degree scorpio conjunct a 1 degree sag

This.

Yup. 6 degrees but can be 9 if it's a conjunction with a fixed star so I've been told.

Conjunctions, I stick with 6 degrees, but it'll still show some effects (in most cases) up to 8-9 deg.

Squares/Oppositions I go 5 degrees

Trines 4 degrees

Sextiles 3 degrees

Everything else 2 deg
