what placements would make someone obsessed with keeping up with the joneses?

not that it's any of my business but it's soooo exhausting to be around this energy. like they could literally be desperately broke but they always feel the need to SHOW people that's not the case (when in truth it is).

i've noticed that a combination of libra and cap are really into this though.

cap sun/libra moon- this woman straight up said: "people don't look at me that way. i can't show up with nothing."

Did I say they did? Being a follower and appeasing people because you don't want them to see you for what you are certainly affects originality and creative thought. It's actually part of the definition. I don't see Virgos as openly eccentric. Here, that would only apply to you (water moon?) despite the best efforts of some to appear different. That would make your 'logical observations' somewhat contradictory as they are rarely as follows. I do look at the shadow but I hardly believe it's the stereotype.

it could partly be appearances for virgo but also the need to be left alone (now this is a social sign along with leo and libra flanking it on both sides so this can't be denied). but virgo is also The Hermit which puts them at a dilemma between self-expression and as you've mentioned, making sure that the public is 'receptive' to it but then again, we're also mutables. i mean, we can't really fault each other for the nature of our modalities.... at least not completely.

but we have to acknowledge where the shadow looms bigger.

Cap moons I know seem to care about status but it's more centered on money. They would not date someone just because he's poor.

I was invited by a Cap Girl to her house. I didn't want to go. She insisted and took me there. No sauna nor whirlpool did I see. Only lots of bad talking about this or that peeps. When I heard they've fired a few people in their small company, and were expecting bad calls, I got why I was invited and driven to them in their car.
