Natal mercury retrogade
I wonder how come I inherit all of mercury retrogrades and my chart say I don't have a retrograde mercury. Could it be something else?
I just learned to roll with it. I'm already awkward so it just adds to the awkwardness and I'll usually make a joke about it. It can still be frustrating cause you just wanna get what you have to say out and out right lol. I do write better than I speak and I do a lot better with people I know...my Leo moon comes out more and kinda over rides the Merc retro.
Mines in the 10th house....I hate speaking in front of a large crowd and I like to be prepared.. I hate when people come at me with things and expect an answer right then and there.. I need time to process and get my head right so that I can communicate my thoughts better.

I only wanted to show proof to Havoc077 that i seen where it says we are excellent with words. It doesn't matter how many sites says it. One site said it and that's all the proof that's needed.

Generally, when there's only one source, it lends to the curiosity of the creditability of the source, hence why I was wondering if you have another source that says the same.
On hindsight, you may be good with words with cancer mercury alone through understanding feelings of others. I think being good with words or not is probably more mercury than anything else. Maybe your mercury square ascendant aspect hinders more than helps others from seeing your ability of being good with words.

Yeah I always associate my mercury more on the cancerian side as oppose to Gemini mercury. I do have a soft side even though I don't show it. I'm not good at expressing my true feelings towards any users here with words on a screen if any of their loved ones pass. All I can do is sit back and read their sad story and feel sorry and wish there is something I can do to help. Not relevant but that's just an example.
I think I have retrograde mercury it's in 9th though and in Taurus. Taurean mercuries are measured in what they say so it can take a while to get their words out.
I also used to get my words wrong, not so much stuttering or stammering. Guess what? Most people don't notice or care. I would say people losing interest is probably more in your head. Best thing is not to overthink it. One tip I heard was to focus on the other person rather than what is in your head (whether that be sweating, stammering, 100 thoughts a minute) and you usually find their are spaces where to talk. I don't do it, but mirroring works e.g.
"I'm going to the opera tonight"
You: "going to the opera!"

That's really good advice but my brain operates at a really high frequency so my mouth is doing one thing and I'm thinking like ten steps ahead. I do overthink though everyone's thoughts reactions to what I'm saying and doing, how they react to my reactions, it's like I'm thinking 30 things at a time, and I tend to get bored really easily..

Exactlyyy if someone's asks me something like at the spot my mind goes blank!! I need to time to process it contemplate it and then decide. 😅 Specially when it's a mathematical question I'm just staring with a blank face even if I do know the answer. No wonder I'm so bad at interviews

I have it. It’s a mess and has gotten worse over time, probably affected by the shitty progressions in my chart. I write better than I speak and don’t like speaking in front of people. One on one Im ok or with small groups. I’m already kind of introverted but I think it makes me appear even more so. I can’t defend myself verbally so I avoid altercations.
I also have Jupiter retrograde and most of my planets in the 8th house (considered the hidden house/house of secrets) so maybe the universe is trying to lock me away.

Woah I feel the same way though I have saturn in the 8th which aspects mercury. So specially in gatherings I'm awkward and can never make conversation, something always goes wrong

Hello everyone, I need some help regarding my retrograde mercury in sag in the 6th. From what I've read having a planet retrograde in the natal changes quite a few things. My mercury also squares my Mc which definitely corroborates the fact that I have issues speaking mostly stage fright, but even when I'm having a good flow in conversation I somehow stutter or stammer and it kinda ruins the flow like if people were interested then they loose some interest. Can anyone help me with my retrogade mercury aspects or links to some sites that I can use. Or experience with these aspects. How does a retrogade mercury affect these aspects
