Or anyone I guess. Are any other sags having a hard time right now? Lately I've been so numb and down. I feel terrible because I can tell it's effecting the people around me. I just really haven't felt joy in a while. Almost like I'm constantly asleep or something. There have been a lot of losses and changes that maybe I haven't fully accepted but also a lot of good things too. I also quit somethings ( which I never do ) and haven't looked back and probably let people down but I don't care.

( Which is not like me either) Part of my soul just feels gone I can't explain it. ( Sorry that sounds really melodramatic ) only way I can think of to explain it. It's been a hard year. I hope next is better and I can get out of this funk.

Do you guys do anything to help re-start yourself?

I take downtime so I can sit in the emotions and the changes.. that helps me to determine what way I’m going.. as things start getting resolved or dealt with I start feeling better.

Maybe this is a time of reinventing for you. It happens to us around the ages of 30 and 50, I read

somewhere. We just go through a cycle of rebirth to fine tune what we want and need.

It will be a good transition for you and it's just to shed unwanted dead weight and get your vision and life for yourself back on track. It's a necessary cycle that we as Sag peeps go through. It makes us stronger.

Once you come out stronger, on the other side, you will see it was necessary πŸ™‚

I hope you feel better in the meantime though! πŸ€—

For me going back to the drawing board means, trying re-connecting with myself by spending a lot time in nature, away from screens and electronic devices. Finding comfort and joy in simple every day things will help you re-discover your childlike enthusiasm and a sense of what you stand for and what your core values are. Once you start listening to your inner child again and give him/her what it needs, you can start re-building yourself and your priorities.

Yes. Been sad, numb, down...autopilot mode.

It dawned on me that my birthday was coming up and I dont even care.

I write alot and I go out to play by myself alot. I do have a trusted few friends.

Take all the time you need.

I am definitely not the jolly sag I used to be. There is a underlying sadness

Did you go through something life changing around your 30's? Like something that changed the way you viewed yourself and the world?

I also listen to trash on youtube lol. It helps me laugh and find some kinda joy.

I did hear from this YouTube person that the reason I may be depressed is because I've been wearing a mask too long. I wear a mask at work and it subdues me. I have to leave.

No. More so my mid 20s.

My Saturn return 29-30 took place in my 5th house and I just stopped partying cold Turkey.

My view of the world changed in 2016.

If it's just a bump in the road, and not true depression (if it's that, please take that leap and find someone to help) don't get so wrapped up in the negative side of the coin. Yeah, things may be a bit odd and murky and not how you usually see things, yourself, etc. But, the other side of the coin is filled with possibilities, figuring out what truly makes you happy, etc.

"Every day may not be good, but there is something good in everyday." Life isn't always gonna be a ray of sunshine, it isn't always gonna be horrible. You have the power to make it however you wanna make it. So you need some recharge time...take it. You'll thank yourself later. Feeling down and out doesn't mean your life is shit. It means you have feelings and those, just like beliefs, thoughts, ideas, etc...can always change.

I've been needing to take some time for myself recently due to a number of factors...and I'm overwhelmed AF but also the possibilities are endless - I can do anything I want, well ya know.. lol.

Anywho, take a timeout, breathe, think of you and you'll get through this! πŸ’›

I was just about to ask this.. My brother every year around this time gets almost suicidal depressed. We talked about it extensively this summer when we were in vacation.

What can I do to help him not fall so far this season? I heard winter and fall babies have a higher chance of depression. Do you guys agree?
