I am trying to figure out WHY does everyone wants to see what I look like?

I don’t give a half shot about anyone’s look...well...maybe one person...

However questions about what do I look like seems popping daily.

Why?

I posted pic of my hand which was pronounced ‘too young’ so I am glad. I have young hands OR my hand photo taking skills are superb!

Also HOW would anyone know if my photo is mine? I can post anyone’s face. Would that be known to everybody? No!

I am trying to figure out WHY does everyone wants to see what I look like?

I don’t give a half shot about anyone’s look...well...maybe one person...

However questions about what do I look like seems popping daily.

Why?

I posted pic of my hand which was pronounced ‘too young’ so I am glad. I have young hands OR my hand photo taking skills are superb!

Also HOW would anyone know if my photo is mine? I can post anyone’s face. Would that be known to everybody? No!

So...what’s the point? 🤷‍♀️

Because some people want to believe you will look batshit crazy.

Personally I would use that opportunity to create some top tier satire, or prove everyone wrong and show you look average or above average. Option 3 is trolling everyone and posting a picture that isn't you. Option 8 is posting no picture at all, and just let everyone make up the image they want.

At the end of the day non of it matters anyway. Do you plan on making an ever lasting relationship with a dxpnet member? Probably not. So you will see the same fate as everyone else. One day you will die, your profile will never post again, and you will be one of the hundreds of faceless no one ever seen a true picture of. A perfect story imo.

There honestly is no point. I just post pictures of myself because I don't want people making up a personal image that isn't truly me. I could care less what people think of my looks. At the end of the day I rather people who read my posts picture the actual me then a personal made up image of Soul. It just makes things feel more genuine imo.

You didn't directly say you were worried, but you made a thread about why people want to see you, which proves it is a thought on your mind. If you didn't care whatsoever you'd have said nothing at all, or just posted a picture pretty much saying "This is me, fuck what you think." But rather made a thread curious as to why people what to see you. Which is proof you aren't necessarily worried, but have a reson behind not showing yourself. Which is a cautious way to go about it.
