These Dems do not worry me. The Dems that worry me are the members of “the squad” who voted against the Infrastructure Bill. Too much focus by the media on Synema and Manchin.

Wow that's a little surprising that they voted against, because unless I'm mistaken, all of them identify as progressive, if not outright socialist. Thanks for letting me know that, I'll be watching to see what they do. That's just troubling because it's been really slow going to make inroads into DC for ADS party.

Whatever political view you have or whether you agree with the ban or not, there is a serious problem this exposes. These guys were nice enough to put it into words that everyone can agree on. A deeper issue that is bigger then trumps ban itself. Thoughts

So if ya'll MFs couldn't tell, I am an avid Trump supporter. I give props to Biden and respect people's choice to support him though (unlike the left does).

How come conservatives go out of their way to discredit victims of sexual assault at the hands of famous republicans, but as soon as an accusation is made against famous democrats conservatives are all over it—??
Are democrats guilty of the same thing?
Firstly, anyone that thinks the government is under the people's control is..not living in reality. Corporate donors are who dictates the actions of "our" politicians.
That said, what is important and could have some serious ramifications about the future is what Manchin and Sinema have done. Manchin switched parties, and Sinema is not a progressive, only in title, she is in fact a republican, but billed as a progressive to help sway important bills toward the republican side. In other words, she's playing for the other team.
This is all important because it is proof, right there for everyone to see that democracy has failed in this nation, and that the political parties are little better than puppet shows. More importantly, as more people realize that they have no *political* voice, they are going to have to resort to means to have their voices heard. We've been seeing this with climate activists surrounding Manchin's fucking maserati, (and he's senator of the poorest state in the nation lol) and surrounding his yacht. This sort of behavior is only going to escalate with time.
Thoughts? Can we save democracy or is it too late?
