Aqua guys with a girlfriend complicating my life..

Last year I became very close with an Aquarius man from my social circle. We both liked each other; however, I knew he was dating someone and living with her as well. He admitted to me that although he was attracted to me he was emotionally unavailable at the time and asked me to wait until the end of the year for him. I did not do anything sexual with him. I knew their relationship had been pretty much over for a couple years and he admitted that it was only the sex and the "convenience" of the relationship keeping them together. He told me he was going to move out and get his life together if I was willing to wait, however, he "couldn't promise anything".


I told him I thought he was simply trying to have his cake and eat it too (I later found out that during this period he ended up telling his girlfriend about my feelings for him but he promised her he wouldn't get involved with me and denied feeling attracted to me). I cut off contact with him and started seeing someone after a couple months. Well, as soon as he found out he went from the sweet guy I knew to being the most cruel, hurtful person I have ever met. I felt as if he absolutely hated me and he was constantly trying to start arguments with me. I confronted him and he ended up walking out mid-conversation so I decided to let him be.

It has been a year now and he is still with the girlfriend. Heck, he even bough a house for the two of them. A house! After telling everyone how crazy she was and that they were over and he was going to leave. Well, lately he has been slowly starting to talk to me again and I have caught him staring at me quite a few times. One day he'll talk to me, the next day he'll ignore me and it's driving me absolutely insane not being able to read this man. What do you guys think? Is this typical Aqua behavior?

It must be just an ego boost for him to know you're standing in the shadows waiting.
