Aquarians describe your ideal utopian/dystopian future.

A lot of my time is spent daydreaming about this kind of stuff so I'm interested if you guys have any cool takes on the subject ..

So for my Utopian future it's a little bit like Alduous Huxley's Brave new world novel where in the future bioengineering is highly revered but that's where it stops.

So in my utopian future I think it would be awesome if we took bioengineering to the brink with plants so we can grow huge trees but tampering their stem cells so they can be programmed to grow into anything we want and in a fraction of the time for example we make them to grow into like giant skyscrapers,buildings or cities even, can even make them repel bugs that we don't like and attract ones we do like butterflies lol. Energy could be created from genetically altered solar cell leaves, imagine just sitting in your treehouse and you literally just plug your phone or laptop into the wall anywhere in the house and it will charge (if we even use that kind of tech anymore) perhaps we could be like Avatar and can tap into the collective consciousness of cosmic energy using a purified strain of DMT or psiboscillin our brains would evolve and our awareness would shoot through the roof of the universe and use it as our own internet.....maybe for some talented people their jobs will to be programmers in the collective consciousness and they create new worlds like the matrix for us to visit ..

.....alot of the food will be grown on your door step or even in your house, and we would also have evolved animals to be quite smart, dogs, cats and birds will be significantly smarter even fish would be as intelligent as what dogs and cats used to be......oh and we now have vehicles that are giant bugs but they're not really bugs they're dead body parts of bugs that are grown in labs and are powered through electric solar panels so you could fly around on a dragonfly drone..

Another cool thing is that the root systems could create underground bunkers to protect us from disasters....so yeh that's what I wish we could live in.

For my dystopian future I totally want to live in Neo Tokyo, I was obsessed with Akira and ghost in the shell when I was a kid because I was so immersed in the rich dystopian futures.....Just Huge dirty cities that you could get lost in with insane gluttony, greed and corruption brings a tear to my eye every time I imagine myself riding around the huge bypasses and roads on Kanaeda's bike

Seriously I'm starting to believe my life isn't real anymore, I live in suburban Australia and every second I spend here is like a lifetime of dying slowly, I even started learning Japanese last year and I can't believe I can actually read and write hiragana! So I'm well on my way on living the dream one way or another lol

Omg I loved black mirror now that shit tripped me the fuck out, fucking bravo with where they were heading with that shit, some new age twilight zone.

I watched nosedive and it scared the shit out of me because I've only had a smart phone for a year and since then I've got instagram and twitter and my life is consumed with likes ATM I'm so thirsty and it's ruining my life, to actually see our culture potentially go in that soul Cushing direction was just sad really, but I felt happy for her when she just said "fuck it"

Haven't seen Fahrenheit but looks interesting I'll give it a go
