After he told me he loves me, he used to telling me it for (at least) two weeks almost every day. Then he pulled back. When I was leaving his country, he was so sad and he also cried, repeated he loves me again.
Now he is rather detached, showing emotions rarely.

Yeah, for me it is also difficult. But when he asked me to be his girlfriend, I told him - but we live so far away. And he answered: and what? we can make it, there are planes...so it was his "idea" 🙂
We will see each other in 6 weeks, he was so happy when I told him I have the air tickets, but if I can, I would skip all these weeks and I will be there now.

Me Europe, he Mexico, but I'm probably moving to his country, because of job. I'm 28, he is 40
I hope you are moving to his country for yourself and not some guy you hardly know because h3 said so.
But since the words spew out of his mouth were some lovey dover bullshit. I throw some major caution.

Do you mean than talk about it with him? I tried to talk about it when I was there, I asked him why is he detached sometimes. He answered: "but I'm not detached..." and sometimes hugged me. He also said that he feels like stucked in his life and he had stressful period.
Well, it has been one month and half that I'm back in my country and it looks like his stressful period continues or what

Well mine did very similar stuff...but then just straight dumped me instead out of fear and insecurities...wish i could help, just here for comments. Always have a contingency plan so you dont rely on him soley after moving!!

Distance for me is more of an obstacle, since I want to see you. I figure if you don't see me there, you'll eventually cheat.

I believe that may have been part of it..ive always been more of a "player" than he has and scared him i guess even tho i told him i only wanted him. He didnt think that was enough. I think you prolly commented on my post earlier...sigh...what do you think of my sitch? He just abandoned me via txt, crying, saying it couldnt work out even tho it was as close to perfect as ive ever felt and i know he felt the same cuz he told me.

I trust him. He said he trusts me, but I know that all this situation is difficult for him. Anyway, do you have some tips for what I could do or what shouldn't do? We are in contact on Skype, meantime we are not in contact, sometimes I write him an email (e.g. sending the photos of something interesting), he never does this, he just replies. Is it good to sending him these emails sometimes? I want to give him space...
