There is Western astrology influenced by the Greeks and Vedic astrology that stemmed from India. Western astrology is governed by the sun and planets. While Vedic astrology, its based off of our constellation of when we are born and because they recognize that the cosmos shift they value on the ascendant . What we will rise to become later in life. Our rising in Vedic is considered even in Western as the most important for its how we show ourselves to others..or in Vedic who we will eventually become. Some astrologers believe Vedic is more accurate in predicting life events and is used in India to help marriages, politics, economical issues. However I relate more to my western astrology in personality analysis. We then have Planets and houses that govern a certain characteristic or sub category. For instance , Venus Is how we love. Despite our Sun, moon, rising...if you have aquarius Sun but your Venus in cancer...then your gonna love like a cancer. The more opposite sign placements in your chart the more conflicted one will be.
Ehhhhh I'm bored with it studied it enough. I'm more getting into socionics now
