Gemini's and breakups...
Definitely not just you. Oh and hi, I'm a newbie Gem! I got "dumped,left,ditched?" whatever by TEXT MESSAGE by who I thought was my long lost Capricorn bf from 20+ years ago(see my post)just before Christmas and I'm still trying to process it and figure out what the hell happened all while being crushed emotionally. So no, it's not just you.
Still trying to get over my Libra ex after 3 years.
p.s. he is now married with a kid.
For me it was/is a Libra with Scorpio moon.
MoodyOne, you would be surprised at how many of us Gems are or were on a Rollercoaster ride with our exs from 20+ years ago. This is by far the hardest ending I personally have ever had.

are we even really compatible with libra? the new guy in my life is an aries, but it's not the same.... more lighthearted, more playful which honestly is what I need right now!!
The Libra and I were compatible in every way except communication, which is a biggie. Oh and the tests his Scorpio moon put me through, pure hell.

I always thought Gems were quick to move on, not dwell on emotional issues for long. I actually envied that characteristic. My gemini just broke my heart. I'm pining away, while he seems to be fine with the breakup. At least it appears that way.

I appear to be cool on the outside so ppl wouldn't notice that I'm suffering. I have Venus in Cancer, when I go through a break up its horrible. It takes me years to get over someone. I don't get close to ppl easily that's why it takes me a long time to heal and trust again.
All of this! No one can tell but it's there. I have Venus in Cancer too. But things are getting better now because one thing is true for me, I will leave emotionally before I do physically. I take the hit emotionally while still in the relationship, when I've worked through that, then I walk and it doesnt hurt as bad.
I got ditched by my Virgo sweetie on Monday; on Tuesday we were back together! I intended to move on, no big deal. I was sad but I don't have time to dwell on what could have been and I cannot control another person's feelings. If that was what he wanted cool. I didn't want it to be over and told him so, but he persisted. Cool. Moving on...until he called. I knew he'd miss me... Who can resist a Gemini? :-)

If it happens next time and he doesn't call for a few days will be a moot point. Next time I won't be going back. In fact I'm rethinking seeing him at all. I've had time to think about it and wonder if I should have just let things stand when when ditched me. I really like him but thinking all the drama that goes along with him might not be worth it. He's playing mind games and I'm not in the mood...

My venus in aries never helped..
yeah, takes a while. once the emotional ceases we move on.
with that said, I think we like when things always work out and the hope of things always being ok makes us stick around for longer than we should for our own sake. I know I need to let go of someone and it's a struggle right now, my consolation is that it's already happening and I'm detaching, so it will happen and all will end when I'm ready. Than I'll just drop it. Nothing more to it after that, but the road meanwhile is a pain in the neck to say the least.
My venus in cancer is having a fit and my asc. scorp is in it's own clutches and that beast of pisces for mars is just a coocoo bird that needs to be put down. But that's just my own dilemma with relationships that I need to walk away from. Suckage.
Personally I think me suffering with breakups, or more specifically being dumped, is being denied what I want. It's not even how much I care for the person, the minute they dump me their value increases tenfold 😛
