AQUAS AMNESIA

Ok im lying, not really amnesia but our forgetfulness. How bad do u have it? Mine is pretty awful. Im bad with rembering people's names, even my own sometimes, lol. I call those moments of forgetfulness- uranius moments. I had one just yesterday. Some channels on my cable have been blocked so i called the cable company for answers. The phone rang and the person on the other end asked me for my name in order to check on their system and i went blank (had to drop the phone and think about that for a sec, lol).

Another example of our forgetfulness from the site urban dictionary..

Aqua: whats your name?

Non-aqua: frederick

Aqua: oh ok, lets go to ihop

Non-aqua: good idea. We might as well have a swim while at it.

Aqua: good then. I like u, whats your name again?

Non-aqua: uhm frederick

Aqua: ok frederick, where did u say u wanna swim? *aqua laughs oblivious of what just happened, lol*

I'm REALLY Bad with names. I asked this girl that sits next to me at work her name 3 times. I was for sure I had it and was like "oh yeah that's Heather" two weeks later my co-workers go "hey Amanda"...and I feel like a total idiot. SMH. I am HORRIBLE with birthdays, I have to associate it to something else to make the link. And sometimes i associate it with the wrong thing so I will consistently say my bestie's b-day is oct 17...its probably sept 17...lol. And I always go into wal-mart, draw a complete blank, then go home and say "oh CRAP thats what you needed..." And dont tell me to make a grocery list, cause I will forget that at home too 🙂

And yes my mind goes blank too when im distracted. Most embarrassing time is when im thinking about something else and someone asks me how old my kids are. I draw a blank, then have to remember what we are talking about and that long pause makes me feel like mommy of the year LOL

Aiyanatb, lol @ mommy of the year, i can totally relate. I have 1 kid and i forget his name too sometimes, its not rare to hear me say, 'turn that tv down...umm...umm' and he pitches in and say his own name, lol

And the grocery shopping thing is true too. What i do is, i roam around isle to isle just to jog my memory up a bit- its ridiculous. I even forget where im going at times only to return back home and think about it some more.

i king myself the most forgetful aqua ever!!!!! losing keys, cell phones, house keys, forgetting dates, messing up orders, bought items and would drive home without the PAID purchases, or would leave things on top of my car drive off and end up losing my purse, or coffee. ONCE (thank god) i was adding gas ..and also DROVE off. pulled out the whole gas pump. ended up paying 300 to replace it. Would naturally mistype to for too (vice versa) or are for our. The worst was when i was college during a blue book essay exam. I totally blanked out on the letter "I" i freaked out and said how do i spell "I"..e..y..e? eye...ai? ay? yeah....

once forgot i had a date with a guy, overslept .he rings on my door bell and i, with bad breath messy hair, opened the door. NO PANTS! just my hello kitty undies. oh gawd i wanted to die right then and there.

Or when i go out to bars with friends...several times i would change purses and totally forgot that i left my wallet or id in the other purse. The worse experience was when i drove alone up to las vegas to meet up with my friends. Forgetting to bring my wallet thinking it was in my purse. End up running out of gas and was stuck. I ended up just working coupel hours for the guy in exchange for gas. -_- sighs.

im just grateful i have great friends that watch out for me hahahaha .

I had another mommy dearest moment this weekend. I transposed the numbers on my sons birthday while filling out paperwork at the dentist. Instead of asking me outright the lady makes this joke about how close the numbers are in our birthdays. I nod and smile, then keep thinking about it when I realize Ding Ding Ding the birthday isnt right. When I told her, she looked at me like WTF mother forgets their kids birthday. I didnt forget! I just was thinking too hard when I wrote it down lol

i do this too. and Libra always ask me, 'what took you so long?'. lol i dont tell him i forgot everything he ask me to get.

i loose stuff all the time. that is why i wake up an hour earlier to get to work on time. i know im going to forget where something is or i cant find something. its ridiculous. i forget were i place things and i forget what people ask me what to do sometimes. well no most times. i have to right everything down. i carry one of those little pads around with me in my purse so i wont forget things. its horrible.

oops meant to say write everything down. geesh. im going to bed.
