My daughter is a borderline hypochondriac and thought she needed to go to the hospital if she stubbed her toe. No, it's not swollen, it's not turning black, you can bend it - YOU ARE FINE!!!
Disclaimer - I am not saying you are like that, I don't know what symptoms you had that you thought you needed to go to the doctor, just my own personal example.

Shut up. When my dad say "he's sick" it is I the one who told my mom to go with my dad to the hospital, without me ? she gonna treat my father decease lightly.
It is I who always encourage my dad "we can always have money, but we can't bring live who's been lost. so we shouldn't treat sickness lightly !"
Aquarians are lovely people until you piss them off. We're a fine balance between nice and mean. We know when to draw the line and set boundaries. Not afraid of confrontation if need be. In a world where most people are afraid of confrontations and avoid them when one is warranted, I find this quality to be incredibly rare. I love fellow Aquarians and I am very happy to be my sign given what I have seen from other aquas, lest I be accused of tooting my own horn. LOL

i find aquarius really warmhearted yet detached which is the perfect combo for me. my aqua besties seem detached and they get misunderstood by our other friends but i know who they are. i think the best way to understand aquas is by not trying to understand them and just let them be. you'd really know whether they care about you by the little acts they do and the time they spend with you, those two things are normally taking for granted by others, but i could see it cause im the same way when it comes to showing that i care expect im a bit more verbal about it than the aquas.i think only independent other self-sufficient people are able to understand the aqua ways and not preceive them as selfish. they dont help you with things you can do yourself. which make sense for me. i feel like they like to see people being independent and want them to be thats why they dont seem to "worry". also they repsect privacy and dont get into people business and issues cause they want people to do the same and not get into their business. they would help if you ask them to, but if not they wont. i might be wrong but thats how i see the aqua around me and i could relate to some extent.

I think we're the most beautiful peoplel lol. We're trusting,loyal,intelligent,very logical and overall kind and open to helping others. I love being Aquarius sometimes but then I can be easily misunderstood.
