Being Loved More or Loving More?

It's generally said that given two people in even the best of relationships, that one tends to love the other a wee bit more. So my question today is: Assuming this be the case... would you rather be with someone that you yourself loved more or would you rather be with someone who loved you more?

For me personally, my choice would be: to be the one who loved more only due to the fact that if I was the one loving soooooo much, I would then KNOW without a doubt that I really wanted to be with that person vs. not loving them as much as they might love me. I think I would tend to think there might be someone else out there for me that I could love as much as they were loving. Does that make sense?

I would rather they love me more. I wouldn't feel too good knowing that I'm not as loved as I love them, it just seems sad. Plus when you love more you're more prone to being heart-broken 😢 It's the security thing.
