Confusing behavior

I made a previous thread involving an aqua male friend of mine. Well, things have been a little on the confusing side here lately. He's been giving me compliments, showing subtle signs of flirting and asking to hang out. Yesterday he called me beautiful. I have to admit, it's a little awkward for me because I've never seen him act this way.

I do find him attractive but haven't put too much thought into pursuing anything with him. I am enjoying our friendship and don't want to hinder that in any way. I just don't know what to do at this point.

Just tell him the truth that you don't like the new of him.

I don't think single Aquas see any boundaries between love/lust and friendship with the opposite sex.

For example, Aqua and I are just friends. This doesn't stop him holding my hand despite my protests (apparently he wants me to be safe while crossing a busy road, but for some reason he doesn't let go after that either)..... Or going for a full blown snog when I aim for his cheeks..... Or flirting and getting touchy-feely with me at a restaurant table surrounded by stern looking muslim men.....Or repeating that "I love you, you don't love me".....Or offering to drive me in his car and then begging for cuddles like a 5 years old....
