Gutted!!

Last nite, i was out with my friends for dinner. It was so cold just before i left the house, so i went and switched on my electric blanket, so that my bed would be all toastie warm for later. Anyway, to cut a long (boring) story short, at bedtime i jumped into bed, half-nude in order to feel the full benefit of the heat..and guess what?? Its was like jumping into a bloody freezer cabinet. It wasnt plugged in!!! I had been waiting sooo long and got sooo excited, that i just cried. Does anyone else just hate things like that? Its just so unfair, and today i just cant seem to heat up at all!!

It could have been worse, my mattress once caught fire because of an electric blanket.

Well there is the good old fashioned hot water bottle to resort to in times like this. Did that not occur to you sola in your chilly alarm?!

sola I can't smell the rubber of my hot water bottle when I use one. And anyway I kinda like the smell of rubber anyway! I take it you just put on an extra pair of socks and a jumper and you warmed up then?

nope..i put on my hairdryer under the covers..thats another cool trick!

no it doesnt take long bling..but i fell out with the blanket..it was kicked to the kerb last nite!

trumps as in card! As in sniffing nail varnish is like a 5 of Spades and sniffing warmed up eraser rubber is like a queen of spades and that's kinda why the trumps metaphor was being used......... . . . . . . .

well,
1) just go into bed ok, put your kness up so that a small cave is formed
2)get your hairdryer, blast the bed (not with the highest heat setting coz it might go on fire)
3) do this for about 2 mins
4)Pure hot Bliss!!

Yeah and maybe try not to cover the fan mechanism of the device while it's actually under the covers if you can appreciate the slight oxymoronic implication of the technique.

Actually I tend to find that aquas are more catlike than Leos. I was with this older Leo man very briefly a few years ago and he said I had a feline quality about me!
