This is good. I find it much more optimism-infusing than the 100% one. I used to see that every day in one of my classrooms in high school, with a picture of a lonely, shadowy basketball on the ground. I guess it never reached its potential. hmph.

Well it kinda goes into the development of philiosophical thought since humans started to ponder their existence and it's done around the story of a young girl Sophie who meets this interesting little guy who starts opening her eyes to the devleopment of philosophy. And I'm not telling you anymore but you should read it.

That does not sound like the type of book I need right now. However, I will probably read it, anyway. You've piqued my curiosity.

Well the book certainly piques a lot of curiousity that's for sure.

What I like, is the fact that she doesn't make any judgment, she lets the listener ponder...

LOL @ Yama. Yes I think Britney Spears really is a complex personality whose words can be interpreted on many different levels. Centuries from now her mutterings and commentaries will be studied and analysed at great length. How lucky we are to be living in the time of Britney Spears; that the utterings of this great mind can touch us all so directly and powerfully.

Seriously though I like Britney. It think she's just being herself and is probably doing it with vigour after feeling forced to fit the virginal character that was created for her when she first started out. Having the courage to be herself has got to be applauded and is a pretty healthy stance for a celeb in her position to adopt. At least she is not starving herself and going out of her way to project a false image like so many fake and feeble celebs feel driven to do. I think this is the reaosn why I like Britney, cos of the way she is and not the things she says or the clothes she wears.

I still think tho that Justin Timberlake would've made a much nicer husband for her than Kevin but hey....

I like her now. She looks real. And kind of showing her finger at the media. Never liked her before but now she seems like a real person and not some copy cat.

Yeah, she seems more real now -- I was a fan of Britney when she first started but then my interest drifted ... it was just the way she started presenting herself that threw me off.

Now, she seems to be more like a person and less like an industry babie doll ... like other famous women ...
