ever been to China? I am going there and April and am curious to hear about other's experiences there.
has anyone
cool..i am kind of confused about where i will be, but i know i will fly into beijing and throughout the week will spend time in Shanghai, Wuxi, Hangzhou, and Watertown Tongli... i have never heard of these places (except for Shanghai and Bejing) and dont know if they are cities or what...
i am excited and suspect the whole experience will be pretty fascinating
What? I'm scared.
Sometimes it is hard to be an american and visit different places, becuase you automatically expect everything to be as orderly (in terms of driving and streets) as it is here. When I went to France there were some driving "incidents" and i also found it hard to adjust to not being able to just grab a coffee to go. I wanted so badly to get a big coffee, and walk around, but always had to go and sit at a cafe for a few hours (service slower) not that i am complaining....but it was kind of funny how you take these things for granted...the French find carrying around a big coffee very tacky indeed 🙂
oh great..that should be interesting..i will be taking lots of vidoes and pics...I've noticed that chinese people in LA drive crazy and they also stand really close when they are in line...they dont seem to have the same concept of personal space like we do.
i hate crowded place where people brush up against me..i get instantly irritated..so i will have to brace myself. So, I wonder how they will shun me. I am very tall so i will probably look really funny walking around there.
