If you don't know how to "melt" the awkwardess, it's difficult. An introverted Aqua can be a nightmare. Do not be afraid to break the ice, but you should be really good in convos without seeming clumsy.

Do you actually like him?
Hear me out on this one, it was probably a stupid question but we're observers and a lot of my kind don't really make a move until we're certain (well most of the time anyway, I'm a special case because I'm retarded). I also don't generally befriend someone I have a genuine interest in or maybe you're just a 'concept' to him. He likes the idea of liking you but not actually liking you.

He can’t talk to me directly, but he’s told off more people than I can count on my fingers for me.
