Unfortunately this is where I have to say depending on other placements the tendency to 'swim away' or be fearful after that initial bonding fails, the aqua (or any sun sign with the placement) will just give up and brick themselves behind this way. I was like this and it's still hard not to just shut myself off.

I think too many people are afraid to express themselves emotionally (which I thought was always the norm) and it really scares some people at how open we can be when we do bond.

Yes yes absolutely. Thats why i havent really said anything. Most of the time i just chuck everything up to being my friend. Its just sometimes i feel like hes flirting, like there is sexual tension there. But i dont think he nor i would ever act on in simply because of the situation.

+1. Just to add, he's being a typical guy testing his boundaries/seeing how far he can take his cousin's gf. He probably wouldn't hook up with you because that means screwing his cousin/family/friend (?) over for a chick. If you leave his COUSIN for him, he will not respect you because:

a) it will cause some serious insecurities/judgement from him for you "what kind of girl is she? Left my cousinfor me and tomorrow will leave me for some next dude that flirts with her" or

b) out of respect and family relations with his cousin. He wouldn't want to alienate his family. If this cousin is also a friend to him, then he's definitely not trying to get with you because we aquas hold our family and friends in high regard. He's just having fun while seeing how far he can take you and YOUR expense.
