Hi All,

My Aqua guy has been really down lately. He's very stressed out about his career (he is an artist) which isn't bringing in the type of money he wants/ needs yet.

He's amazingly talented and I feel like this is the last barrier before he really gets his work seen. I know everyone gets stressed out but I'm a little concerned because their has been a lot more drinking and some other things.

He doesnt seem to want space, or more space than usual, in fact he keeps bringing up the fact that I have a 9-5 now and am gone all day.

How can I help/ be supportive? What do you like your partner to do when you're stressed?

He is an Aqua Sun, Aries Asc, Virgo Moon, Pisces Venus

Try to give him some more attention and show some more support. It can be quite difficult for Aqua to handle pressure. You could attempt to brighten up the mood a little bit, though I'm not sure how much it would work out.

Thanks! I've been trying to brighten the mood but that hasn't worked. It just seems to make him feel pressured to appear happy. More pressure is NOT the goal.

I'll give more attention. I'm not normally that talkative but I'll text more and spend more time visiting him after work.

Help him get his work out. Are there agencies in his genre that do just that? Talk to other artists that are already successful to see what they're doing. Keep him motivated and inspired. Don't be his crutch!

I'm trying to be hands off otherwise since I can be kind of pushy and managing.

But I don't want to be his crutch either! I'll try reaching out to some of my artist friends and have us meet up with them. Thank you for the tip!

Yeah, you should certainly show him that he means a lot to you. I've been recently putting up with a depression myself, and what keeps me going is the fact that my family & friends have shown that they care a lot about me, how much I mean to them.

I wouldn't call him clingy but he's very possessive. Is that usual?

It's a strange mashup because he has the Aqua/Aries ego so he sort of lashes out (verbal) when he thinks I'm putting him off and spending time with someone else when he wants to see me.

I'm sorry to hear you've been dealing with depression. It's a really hard thing to go through. I'm glad your family and friends have rallied! I hope you start to feel better.
