Is Infatuation Good or Bad

What are your views on this? Good or bad? Ever been confused with the difference between Love and Infatuation with someone?

Give or take but this is my take on it.

Love - The real deal, putting the energy into the person, accepting them even if it's not reciprocated, you acknowledge the connection is there.

Limerence - Going step up from infatuation because you simply can't get the person off your mind and when not reciprocated you feel hurt. It doesn't have to be a physical longing but it's almost a borderline obsession, a very self-draining energy.

Infatuation - unreasonable attachment or desire for someone when nothing's been established

Crush - Passing infatuation.

Or I can be wrong! To me it's not good or bad but it just a thing that happens. So long as it doesn't get to the Limerence stage.

Infatuation is euphoric. That's the fun stage of a relationship! 🙂

Love is security and acceptance. That's the best part of a relationship. 🙂

Then that's not good. I bet it could be an addiction.

I'll know if it's infatuation.
Unless you can be infatuated with a personality...... Then maybe I could be.

I could definitely be infatuated with intelligence... But I just don't see how it's foolish to overly like those things so *shrug*

Yes lisa the older I get I see 'true' love as an action... a choice.
