Any other man and I would agree hands down. Sex between us has happened because it's great...really great. We just get it, but on either side there is no emotion, no engagement beyond the physical act.
I know how it sounds, but the outing yesterday was the best since we broke up, and it was nearly one-on-one. I think it's valid to want to maintain a friendship. I love him...I'm not in love with him.
I can't nor do I want to be friends with all my exes, but he's worth it...

It's awesome!! We've made a breakthrough, I do believe it (at least for the moment). This is the guy I was heady-in-love-with for about a year...but we broke it off and both hoped to save our friendship. It's been really rocky with a lot of ups and downs. We've had sex a couple times since (the last time about 3 weeks ago). But last thursday at our mutual friend's house we had a nice conversation and next thing I know, he invites me out with his friend to see an art show! It was great and really nice to know that we can hang out like that. I've missed that aspect of him most of all. I hope it lasts 😄
