I just read somewhere (sorry, i can't post it because I closed the page by accident and cannot remember how i got there in the first place), that Aquarians "control their emotions so they can blank them and walk around like a computer".
It was written by a different sign, and quite possibly some prick who has been burned by an Aquarian female (most likely for being an arrogant twat).
I'm getting really fucked off with reading this crap. I'm sick of people presuming that a whole pack of people are emotionless, simply because they happen to be Aquarian.

i have lots of aquarian male friends, its not that they are like computers but ya they can control their emotions pretty well and they get really annoyed when people cry, dont know why. oh ya and my best aquarian friend at 14 yrs old had to go to the doctor and get put on eyedrop meds because his tear ducts dried out from not crying for so long... but then on his 18th birthday he started cring and COULD NOT stop it was wierd. its like the males only let it out when they cant hold it in any longer... but ive never had an aquarian female friend. anywho you should probably just ignore what ass holes say because people talk shit on every sign, there is always someone bashing aa sign for a personal experience they have had.
I never really understood the whole "aquarians have no emotions" thing. They are logical thinkers...but hardly un-emotional.

Most of my aquarian friends are actually quite emotional when it comes to a situation that involves them ya or someone they care about. they get really angry when they watch people they care about do bad things. they give the biggest guilt trips too but that isnt a bad thing because it makes you look at yourself and change. one thing though is that they are right most of the time if they are on track. they realize things that dissapoint them and they will boldly tell you what it is and be disgusted by it. again, a good thing. im not a logical thinker and i need aquarians to put me in check. getting better at being more logical though. a lot better thanks to aquarius
It IS true that we Aquas know how to control our emotions, BUT the REASONS why we can/try to control our emotions are for DIFF. reasons than others think.
We don't try to control our emotions so that we can walk around all day like computers/robots; we're not necessarily doing it to spite or hurt another person. We don't fear love or our emotions. We HAVE emotions AND tear ducts just like EVERYONE ELSE!
It'd be diff. if Aquas NEVER knew how to turn on their emotions. No, we have access to our emotions at ALL times. It'd be diff. if Aquas were ALWAYS stuck in their logic with no way out. We understand that living in and/or trusting our emotions is JUST AS important as the logic. We KNOW this. We ALSO know that some situations require more of our logic than our emotions & the same goes VICE VERSA!
To us, an Aqua's ability to control their emotions is the SAME as a person knowing how to maintain professionalism at a time when other's would've flipped out or "broke character." In some situations, maintaining our "POKER FACE" is beneficial for us in the long run OR ATLEAST temporarily.
(Example): You'd be surprised at how quickly an Aqua might want to wrap their arms around you & profess their undying love for someone when we 1st meet you. BUT, just b/c we don't immediately make our emotions known, does NOT mean that we don't have emotions at all OR that we're NOT capable of expressing them. The reason we may "hold back" in the beginning stages of getting to know someone is b/c we know the DANGERS/CONSEQUENCES in using only pure emotion to guide us through a situation/process. If an Aqua told the person they just met that we were madly in love with them, that person would probably think we're TOO emotional and/or that we cling to quickly, thus that person would probably end up being turned off. BUT yet when an Aqua maintains their "poker face" temporarily (just for the sake of making sure they don't make the mistake of letting their emotions take over), people THEN start looking at us funny and/or assuming that b/c we don't wear our emotions on our sleeves that something must be wrong with us; we're DAMNED if we do & damned if we don't!

i cry. sometimes i feel so alone i just bust out into tears....and i cant hide my face so you can usually see what im feeling. mostly its all me being tired so i look depressed lol. but yeah...aquas will hide thier emotions and cry alone or around people they trust. i know myself my best friend is emotional. some times i wanna comfort her but alas shes stronger than that. as long as she knows im here haha its all good. im usually an emotional pillar for people to lean on you know? its what im good at.

It's simple. People look down on OR stray from the things they don't understand. I don't think people REALLY mean what they say when they claim that they'll accept others for their difference. Aquas are STILL humans just like everybody else. It's just that TICK a little differently.
Hell, I don't go around knocking or judging those who DO cry in front of others all b/c I don't "tick" that way. It's simple. If a person feels the need to express their emotions on Monday, who am I to judge just b/c I'd prefer to express mine on the weekends?! I can respect those who tick differently, so I expect the same understanding & respect from others when the tables are turned.
I don't go around knocking the people who live strictly in their emotions. Sure, I may not necessarily AGREE that living in one's emotions all the time is the best way to go about things, BUT hey if that's how someone chooses to be b/c it works for THEM, then so be it! To each it's own!
I like to cry alone, not b/c I'm weird, BUT b/c I like being able to sort things out myself. It's kind of like having my own little secret alliance/independence with myself. Why would I need an audience just to prove that I'm sad about something?! I like entertaining MYSELF all by myself the SAME way I don't mind being social with others. But sheeesh, I don't expect to be shunned either during the times that I choose to be alone! After all, it's NOT like we're committing crimes! It's not like crying at home instead of doing so in front of an audience is a crime OR a sign of insecurity. Sheeeesh!
People don't realize that to US (simply BECAUSE we're diff) we OFTEN have to deal with meshing well with people who tick completely differently than we do. You don't see us going around & complaining. That's just life. And everybody's past experiences affects how they deal with certain things & emotions. Just b/c something is DIFFERENT or isn't "COMMON" doesn't mean that it's "wrong" or that there must be some kind of problem.

I'm a complete loner who has been moved to tears most recently by seeing one man standing alone on strike in the rain. I cry, rage, and laugh very easily. There. I said it. Kick me out of the Aqua club.
feisty. ill share a secret. im super sensitive to emotion displayed on film. like death or a break up or when someone on film is like being emotional torn. yeah it gets to me. empathetic by nature i guess. in school id cry about everything. i was a baby in a leather jacket trying to look tough.

Ack I cry at weird times too :/ Twice, I've seen people get engaged and started to tear up. Once it happened while I was leading a field trip at work...lol Oops!
And I cry at weird commercials, at extremely happy moments, at moments when I'm suuuper pissed off...ugh. I'm just a big cry baby in general 😛
Hehe, yeah one time a co-worker was telling me how she had baked a cake for another co-worker with breast cancer. I started balling just because of her kindness. The other day a different co-worker told me that its ok that I'm moody..that it makes me who I am. I started crying from his understanding and acceptance of who I am.
I wouldn't have it any other way, Feisty. I like to feel. (Powerful emotions! For all you perverts out there!)
And HappyCappy, I think that sometimes the most tough-looking people are really the most sensitive underneath it all! It always seems like that...
ABSOLUTELY! They're tough because they have have to be. To protect their sensitivity. I can act like a rabid animal when I'm angry or my feelings are threatened, but I know its because I'm guarding myself from feeling hurt.

I totally hear you that there are probably better ways, but I'll tell you what. I truly feel that getting those feelings out is more important than trying to contain them. I think it would slowly eat away at me and eventually kill me if I held my anger in. I'm shocked I don't have high blood pressure, but I think its because I let it out!

you super sentitive aquassss who knew? takes much to get me angry but when i am its a mistake on your part. viscious....i can cut into you like a hot knife through butter. ill use any means to demoralize you and then stoomp all over your corpse. im just that bad ass.
