Older Scorpio woman, younger Aquarius man

Hello, everyone.

I have been doing a martial art with a younger Aquarius guy with the moon in Scorpio. In the beginning, he just used to stare at me - he is very shy and hardly ever says anything to anyone. When I used to try to make casual conversation with him, he would reply with one or two words, or just look at me. I used to think he absolutely hated me, until one day he shot me a real "I'm so sad, please help me" kind of look and I realised he liked me.

At his grading, when we all hugged, he hugged me like he did not ever want me to let go. Then he started to shoot me very intense, passionate looks across the dojo. For many months, we would stare at each other with the most excruciating desire and yet be too nervous to talk - just being in one another's presence was hell. It was way too intense. He always looked incredibly miserable.

I decided, after many months, that the best thing would be to relax him by just being friendly to him. So I started to talk to him a little bit, casually, just a few sentences here and there. At first, he was like a scared rabbit, then he started to relax. It has taken A YEAR to go from there to starting to be friends (the desire is still there, but we are just not talking about it/ignoring it at this point). We are now able to text one another comfortably and we chat every few days or so, for a couple of hours. I asked him if he'd like to go for a hike with me and he said yes.

We are still jumpy and nervous in one another's company, but these days he smiles, laughs, and looks pretty confident, which he never did before. He is MUCH younger than me and has never had a girlfriend - he is so shy that he actually only ever goes to social events with his brother or his best friend. He is very brilliant but is socially hugely inept and is incredibly difficult to get to know. He is a black belt and normally very self-controlled, except around me, when he blushes, fumbles, looks at me in a goofy way, etc.

He generally lets me know he wants to text me by going online and hovering - it is his way of saying, "I want to chat". He never initiates. This is why it has taken a full year for us to get to where we are now. With him, everything is silent, intense, implied, hinted at (Scorpio moon!).

I am Scorpio with Gemini moon and Sagittarius rising (no idea what his ascendant is).

So what's your question? I suppose you want to know whether he likes you? The signs are very obvious he's interested in you. Yes we aquarians are slow in relationships because we are pretty passive & we need a lot of support & confidence before we decide to make a move. You are doing the correct thing by making him relax. Once you get to see his real side, he's very different from what you see now 🙂

Nothing wrong with that... as long as there respect and maturity.. I mean five years from your age no harm. Right? What are your ages? If you're both single why not. Whatever makes you happy.

Oh, my question is, are we astrologically well suited? 🙂
