A syntaxic perception is a conceptually validated percption...meaning YOU as an individual realize how others percieve you. Once you come to this realization you either reject or confirm these perceptions, but whether or not you agree or raise an eyebrow to the way others percieve you it helps you to realize your strengths as well as flaws.

Questions:
How do others percieve you?

What are these interpretations?

How do you percieve yourself?

Once you knew the other persons perception what was your reaction and how did you feel about?

Did you agree or disagree? (regardless of whether or not you care)

Funny Kris.

I agree Aqi, if I hadn't developed my self confident personality as a kid, I'd probably not be who I am now...a srtong minded individual.

But I am always shocked when someone lets me in on what they think of me...
For example, the other day an old friend of mine from highschool says, "Oh...you were always so quiet..." Its true, but i'm always taken a back because I dont percieve myself this way. I thought I was actually very outspoken and friendly most of the time.

Its happened to me on numerous occassions...different perceptions, but the overall concensus is that i am a quiet person. Many times its true, im quiet when im feeling a sitution out or I just simply have nothing to say to someone (I dont talk much. LOL). But when I do put myself out there, i usually leave a couple of people confused.

How do others percieve you?
-I'm not quite sure to be honest. But for the most part people tElL me:
I seem quiet (yeah, no shit hah)
I seem calm
I seem self-controlled
I seem nice
I seem innocent
I seem angry... should smile more
I seem smart

What are these interpretations?
-I'm usually very reserved, very wrapped up in myself and my thoughts.

I was doodling at work, a little cartoon of the day thing. Everyone is always curious to see what funny thing I've drawn that day. A co-worker I hadn't really interacted with took a pic of one and said he really liked it, then he said something like "It's nice, you're very creative, you're not boring" hah, so he thought I was boring lol It seems to me that he started observing me after that..? I guess I have what he thinks are odd behaviors and on one occassion he started going on a rant about how he didn't get me, I was crazy, he didn't understand me... It was odd to see HIM like that. I think he was being half-funny?

I dunno, I get those sort of reactions sometimes. I'm half amused, half confused...? LOL

How do you percieve yourself?
-I am quiet, I am reserved... I'm comfortable being that way
-Calm? Well yeah, I was blessed with that stereotypical solid earth mind heh 😛 I can act surprised though... don't wanna seem *that* dull lol
-I am a 'nice' individual O=) blessing or curse
-As for innocent. I'm just not innocent in the way in which people think >=)
-I'm definitely not angry. Give me something to smile about and I will =P
-I was talking to this man once and he started to tell me how he had done what I had told him and everything had worked out perfectly...
... this is me thinking: "O_o uh?" I had never been the one to give him advice but I knew what he was talking about and so I played along... bla bla I don't know who he talked to but he said he had trusted me because I seem so smart... hah!
It's one perception because sometimes it comes from people who don't know me well. Whether it's true or not...? O_o? lol

I'm perceived very differently sometimes too. I'm a little bit naughty too 😉 For the most part I perceive myself an easy-going individual. Hmmmm in all honesty, I perceive myself in two entirely different lights... depends.

What was your reaction and how did you feel?
-For the most part (obvious observations) are correct. From the mouth on out...
Of course there's what they pick up and don't tell you... I sense they're wrong.
