Everbody knows that this word has a horrible reputation in the past of slavery to put black folks down. Now we hear alot of black people use it. And I am one of them. There is a contradiction to this word which is us black people can use and white people can't unless they want to get beat down. My question is what do yall think of this word. Input please.
The N Word

I've NEVER called ANYONE the 'n'...and I will never accept anyone to call me a 'n'...but the thing is, us blacks are slang-oriented, so we ignorantly slanged the 'n' word by dropping the 'er' and replacing it with an a, and I guess this makes everything ok. Personally, I think it is the ignorance of blacks today that allows us to use the word freely without guilt, but I can almost bet that our ancestors above who fought gallantly for equality can't wait to kick our behinds when we reach the pearly gates...

LOL... ya i still hear alot of people callin' themselves 'nigga' 😛... its kindda cute... 😛

I've NEVER called ANYONE the 'n'
i've never called anyone a 'N' either but they call themselves 'N' 😛... just like i know alot of japanese people who call themselves 'Japz'....( they think its kindda cool)... or pakistani people callin themselves 'Paki'......my pakistani friend says had u called someone a Paki in the 70s/80s and even 90s u'd be considered a racist...

I don't use it, and i don't like to hear it. People around me know not to say things like that around me period. All my black friends some use it and some don't. I don't say anything about it cuz as crazy as it is, it's accepted for them.. and it's what they choose to use. Right or wrong it's slang, but not universal...
