The Noir

So there was sort of Film Noir marathon on TMC today and being me and while cleaning I watched it. So now I've decided that I like the film genre. However, the Maltese Falcon put me to sleep. Some might gasp because it is suppose to be 'according the critics' one of the best, but if that is the best...😢

Are there other good movies out there?

I enjoyed who framed Roger Rabbit...I always have. 🙂

No I also watch period/historical films, westerns, comedies, romance drama aka chick flicks, some anime, and the occasional vampire or werewolf film.

I don't watch too many movies on the subject except for Saving Private Ryan.

I didn't see Sideways, it just didn't have that RENT ME AND WATCH ME appeal.

I am sure I can find a couple of the Merchant Ivory movies at the library.

Have you ever seen Tombstone?

Tombstone is a 1993 revisionist Western movie written by Kevin Jarre and directed by George P. Cosmatos. The story involves Wyatt Earp and his brothers moving to Tombstone, Arizona where they and Doc Holliday face off against a band of criminals called the Cowboys.

It is one of the greatest Westerns of all time.
