I'd say Galileo was a pretty wise guy for his time. He knew the world was round and was willing to defy the ignorami of the time who were denouncing him as a heretic.

We are debating this at work. I believe Solomon was. "God also made him the wisest man in all the earth (1 Kings 3:11, 12; 10:24)
He wrote: Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and The Song of Solomon.
Guy at work believes Confucius wins the title of wisest. What do you guys think?
