The WISEST man ever to live?

We are debating this at work. I believe Solomon was. "God also made him the wisest man in all the earth (1 Kings 3:11, 12; 10:24)

He wrote: Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and The Song of Solomon.

Guy at work believes Confucius wins the title of wisest. What do you guys think?

Not Solomon anyway. I'd go with Confucious if it was a head to head between those 2.

I'd say Galileo was a pretty wise guy for his time. He knew the world was round and was willing to defy the ignorami of the time who were denouncing him as a heretic.

OK, ok, that was a cheap shot. You're right, there really is no right answer for this one, and there always will be war in the name of religeon, so um...(horns poke out) 😉
