Valentine's Day babies

Super weird. Even a guy born in the mid 70's (Valentine's Day baby) came up to me in the bar, and my Leo friend told me how after I left (we both spent the night at his house with his other friend) he knew I was the one (lol no).

Guess it's not just Valentine's Day, but recently it has been. All of these guys swooped in out of nowhere. The two 80's babies I worked with. Now I work with 92. I've dated/liked mostly second/third deacon Aquarians. Have quite a few friends in the first deacon as well but never dated a first deacon.

This is really just a discussion and I'm not seeking advice, so clap your hands and enjoy.

This guy born in 92 is super great. I didn't even know he was an Aquarian though. In fact, I was convinced he was a Leo. Very dramatic and just a tad bit pompous guy. SUPER creative. He would say hi to me at work a lot. I can't help but say he def caught my eye when he started. He's slightly new to the workplace. So he'd say hi...in a super weird tone. I'm slightly clueless in most situations that involve flirting, but he told me his tone and "particular voice inflections" were very intentional and he was using it as a social cue to tell me he's interested. I'm like "lol wat". Well I DID notice the tone/voice inflections, and it's kind of funny but I would think in my head "why is he talking like that? is that how he normally talks?" 😆

He'd always have this weird look in his eye too when he'd talk to me, but I thought I was just being overly analytical like I usually am. Well one night we closed together, and he offered to take my department's trash back. I said it's ok but he insisted. I was happy low key because I hate taking the trash back. But I felt really guilty when he took it. And I didn't realize I was supposed to walk with him, but he told me that was his plan later. LOL. I stood there contemplating in my head "do I go with him" "no that's weird don't go with him" "wow I'm a rude bitch he just took out the trash and I'm making him walk back there alone" "well I can't follow him NOW...it's too late and I'd look like a freak". A week or so goes by...and we close together again. He saw me meandering around aimlessly like I usually am when we are slow, and he asked if I just got there, and I said yes and he used his tone inflection technique and was like "great we close together", smiled and walked away.... I stood there like "—" At this point, I sense something is up with the tone inflections and it has become obvious (finally)....he offered to take the trash again that day and he asked if I'd come with him that time LOL. And then he told me how I was supposed to go last time, and I said I didn't want to seem like a weirdo following him around. SO he asked me out for drinks, and in my head I was like "wow this is happening" so I said yes (duh). We hung out. It was lovely.

He picked me up and everything. HE WORE A NICE SHIRT AND A TIE OMG. I felt like I looked busted compared to him, but it’s ok. I did dress up but didn’t do my makeup. But seeing as he accepted me looking busted at work all the time I assumed that was okay lmao. I never wear makeup to work. I only do sometimes when I’m motivated enough to be patient and make everything look good.

Well back to why I thought he was a Leo…my friend (male) in my department told me how this guy came up to him and the first thing he said was “yeah I was in the Navy. I worked on such and such” and my guy friend was talking about it and was like “all I did was say hi and he starts bragging about being in the Navy”. I thought it was kind of hilarious. This was before he ever asked me out.

Then once he did ask me out he was super bold and confident about it. He has a little bit of a dramatic flair to him. Not sure how else to describe it. He does come off as trying to be a show off, but it doesn’t bother me much and it’s not so much bragging but moreso sharing information/starting conversation…at least in my opinion. I like Leos in general, so what bothers others about Leos does not bother me. I think it’s a good thing to be confident, forward and make yourself heard.

He…definitely makes himself heard (lol) and makes his life accomplishments known. I was like “this dude is a Leo…no questions asked” so after he picks me up he’s talking about how he just turned 24. It’s May…so I’m like ok…so he was born in 92 if he was born after January. Then he said how his birthday just passed…and I’m like still at the ready to mentally calculate. THEN HE SAYS “Yeah but my birthday is never really my birthday if I’m dating someone.” *DIES. I knew. I already knew at that point. Then he said how his birthday is on Valentine’s Day.

Did the math because I am a freak of nature and not afraid to say so. I have TimePassages which is an astrology app for Apple users. I recommend it or iPhemeris. Later in the night…also because I am a freak of nature. I told him I had a weird question, and he was like “okay ask” and I go “what time were you born” and he looks at me like “wut”. And he goes… “you know when you said you had a weird question I was expecting to just be like ‘oh that’s not a weird question at all’…but…that kind of was a weird question” and I start laughing and he’s like “does that matter” and I just say “not really I’m just curious” then I go into how I like astrology and I wanted to know what his ascendant was because I thought he was a Leo. He let me ramble on and on and turns out….he has a Leo ascendant LOL.

Most of his planets are in the 5th house too. Talk about Leo dominance.

We will see where this goes. This just happened/started three days ago, and we have hung out two days in a row. Yesterday I was gonna invite him out somewhere I was going with my friends but didn’t because I felt like a weirdo, but later he said he would’ve came. Today we are set to hang out once he gets off work.

The connection is undeniable. It’s pretty weird. And he’s very polite and courteous. He walks me to my door, opens and holds doors for me.

This whole thing happened out of nowhere. It’s slightly impressive. So far I am enjoying where it’s going. I feel very comfortable around him, and he is very encouraging.
