What does it take?

What does it take to get a man to ask me out? My friends all tell me that I'm good looking but if I want to go on a date I have to do all the asking. Is it just me or does anyone else have this problem?

well u kno wut? i think the reason why they dont really talk ..ur dates. Is because theyre too nervous around ya! lol and i kno for a fact that..if u are "cute" then the person would be all nervous around u, cus some ppl are like that around ppl they think are good looking, cus for one fact, they dont wanna make a fool outta themselves so yea..try to make them comfortable..or something.

Perhaps they are afraid of rejection. Dating has changed over time in part due to the changing roles of men and women...we are more equal and that is partly the reason that they expect a woman to ask them out...they are somewhat afraid...
Women still don't know what they want...not really...I hear some complain when man opens a door for her and others complain that he didn't...
We have confused them basically...
Ask them out and if things go comfortably...he will ask you out...
