What is going on?!

Hi, i am an Aries and have been interested in an Aquarius for a few months. We met through mutual friends on a vacation and instantly hit it off. We ended up hanging out almost the entire time. There was alot of PDA (and drinking involved) but on the last day he kept wanting to hold my hand and told me he never gets like this ( i guess liking someone, wasnt sure what he meant). He didnt contact me after that so a week later i texted and it started a daily text situation and a few hour long phone conversations. He even drove through a storm to come see me

Then things started getting weird. He stopped texting or even texting me back. I told him it bothered me and he has been better about it but still. He also told me that he is casually dating. I have plans to go see him this weekend with some friends and he wants to get together with all of his friends as well. Is this him avoiding me one on one? Any insight would be very helpful

Well id like to give you some advice. Im an air sign and normally I drop hints when im not that invested in a relationship. I understand he may have driven through a storm to see you but so what? He might be driving around in the storm for other women too. So lets look at the facts.

1. Hes getting distant
2. He told you he is casually dating others
3. You have plans to see him with friends, he wants to get together with his friends as well.

If this doesnt spell it out for you I dont know what does. I think maybe you might have gotten the wrong idea but he definitely isnt invested here. He even told you hes casually seeing other people. That is a warning sign I give people as in "Don't get too close, I don't want a serious relationship" without actually coming out and saying it and hurting peoples feelings. Air signs we don't a lot emotions so we will verbally engineer something sometimes to have double meanings. Yes literally Im seeing others, but I also dont want to make a full commitment to you or anyone.

Also about #3. He never said he wanted to see YOU. You were like I have plans to see him. But he answered with yeah he wants to get together with HIS friends too. Nothing about you. I think you need to just leave it the way it is. Cause right now hes not going to make anything serious with you. Aquarius are the hardest to get settled down (besides Sags) in my opinion.

Thanks so much for the feedback MeToo. He has been texting me alot today and seems really excited to see me this weekend. Want to grab drinks/dinner when I get in to town and meet up with our friends after. I forgot to mention that we live 6 hours away from each other so its not like we get to see each other much so this should be an interesting weekend. Also, I am also dating in my city casually so its not as if I'm completely focused on this relationship. I was just really confused by his hot and cold behaviour but I guess thats normal for Aquarius.
