What's in store for my friend?

I have a very close Aquarius friend who is going through a rough patch with his lady. He doesn't know what to do. Fight for his love? Leave her alone?

I've tried to look it up but am by no means educated enough to put his chart together. Looking to see what the stars say about the situation.

He's Aquarius sun, Capricorn ascending. Not sure what else is needed.
