How do you honestly feel about Gemini?

I have a Gemini ascendant and I really really identify with Gemini characteristics: friendly, outgoing, easy to talk to, sometimes long winded. But I've also seen that so many people strongly dislike Gemini and I'm curious about why. Brutal honesty is appreciated!

I don't think Gemini rising would be associated with being disliked. Try being a Gemini sun most particularly Gemini in the big 3 major planets ie Gemini sun, moon and Mercury and you'll get a dose of one big hate and jealousy for almost no particular reason beyond insanity.

People want and usually need to hear what they want to hear, and gem will never say what people want to hear. Sometimes but not all the time.

The only thing that annoys me is how geminis, especially a gemini mercury, can talk the life out of me. But it's always positive

Gemini’s are cool, humorous, aloof. I like ‘em.

But I know a Scorpio with a Gemini Moon and I feel pity for him. He’s stubborn and scatterbrained at the same time. Frustrating to be around him most of the time.
