A poem about inner light for all to read

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.

We ask ourselves,who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not be be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world.

There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.

It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Very powerful tinker....I have read this before and I so believe what it says. Why are we so afraid to be who we are? Hmmmm.....

I think I will "tink" on this a bit.....😉

Thanks for sharing that with us Tinky-Winky......you certainly shine like a star yourself...with your lovely lively delightful comments and opinions....(you remind me of fairy spreading her fairy-dust lightly and sweetly as you go...:-)so today, no matter how good, bad, or indifferent we feel, let's all go out and make everyone we meet feel a tiny bit better about themselves.....it's just as easy to be good and do good as it is to be bad and do bad...probably easier:-)

It has been a long time, all of my fellow Aries. I am back as I have shaken the diseased dust of off my fleece from a baaaaad relationship, and am ready to butt back into the circle of life. The scorpio has past. I think I stomped him pretty good. He'll never return because his ego is too fragile.

I re-read this opinion that I wrote not so long ago. It has given me hope. Glad to be back.

TW2 here, dont know you well yet but a big welcome back. Sorry about the relationship bummer, I am glad you are through the rough part though.

I decided to post because I am just entering a dark time in my life regarding a recient break up. So new in fact his things are still here, and he has not completely moved out yet.

Still I am trying to have a ok christmas in spite of it all.

I go up and down right now with how I am feeling inside about all of it. God I do hate going through things like this. Anyhow good to meet you tinkerbell.

I must not forget "Hello Candle Girl: aka Kennyg" & "Freebird" & "Alana" & "Aprilbaby" & we cant forget "James the 13th". A warm hi to you all, so glad I have you to talk with. My world is a little happier because of it.

Hi twinflame2....so sorry that you have to go through the dark tunnel esp. at this time.....just pretend you are holding a fistful of shiny bright candles with our names on each candle!!!!.....see them glowing and dancing as you walk bravely on, as we know you can oh so well....we will all get through that tunnel with you....as for guy....who knows—!!!!what will happen—?

Hug has been finally recieved Alana! Thanks for sending it. As for the guy, we are still together. Everything worked out ok.

I will remember the fistful of shiny bright cancles every time I may need them, what a beautiful gift to send to me Alana. It brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it.

I guess I kind of posted late on this thread, sorry for that. But thanks for answering it anyway. Looks like I found yet another new friend.

I just had an awful thing happen to one of my sons friends (and at my house). I posted about it on the Cancer board. I just cant talk about it again. But I am asking for everyones prayers for this little boy of twelve ok.
