Aries - Scorpio combo... what are the chances?

My best penpal buddy is a Scorpio, born in the year of the Monkey. She's currently dating an Aries fellow. Both are in their forties. They've been on two dates so far and she is taking a real liking to him. According to the profile page here, that's like the worst possible combo for their signs. What are their chances? Should I break the bad news to her or be encouraging? Only Aries I know is my older brother Pat, who I like under MOST circumstances... he can be a good guy at times, and a VERY unreasonable, violent ass kicker at other times.

We seem to be very attracted to each other, but Shaks is right...either it's really great or really bad. A lot of Aries are extroverts, while Scorps are more introverted. This could either mean incombatibility or learning from each other's differences. Either way, there will be lots of sparks...guaranteed!
Now, this combos success depends on their full chart and not just their sun sign. There's a site out there that can compare your full charts together. I suggest she does this...that could help.

My Scorpio friend went out with her Aries BF this weekend... third date. She's been to his house, he's been to hers... and she tells me he won't do more than give her a little hug, and a peck of a kiss yet. Despite her giving many hints she says. I told her maybe she should just ask outright to discuss what they are going to do about sex with him... lol. She did say he was diabetic... I've heard that many men with diabetes have ED... could that be his problem?

Hmmm...not sure about the ED part. Normally, you wouldn't have to tell an Aries to discuss anything. But, that would be my suggestion as well.

Update: Well, looks like ED was the problem. Fed up with waiting to get more than a peck of a kiss... Scorpio gal wrote him as nice a letter as she could, and pressed for details and he said quote "If I met Cindy Crawford and she wanted me to make love to her, I wouldn't be able to". That says it all. So seems he was just looking for a platonic lady friend all along... what a shame that he didn't spell that out from the beginning...
