My opinion is this...and it's due to my beliefs which I don't expect everyone to share but my belief makes it so chrystal clear to ME that it's easy for ME to believe in it...
I don't expect anyone to really believe or see my thoughts here without first comming to terms with the law of Karma and the cycle of life and death known as reincarnation and I hope I can explain myself below...
It all stems from my belief in the "journey of life" and how we should be more concerned with our journey...not our life here and now as "Joe Soap". Our journey pertains to our souls and is more important to keep tabs on because I believe we are essentially spiritual beings, NOT humans!!! We inhabit a material world as humans to learn the many lessons of life through our journey...the journey will take MANY lives. To loose one of them tragically through being murdered or what ever is just part of that journey and in a round about way enriches us.
The more I live the more I learn and hence the more I realise there is to more to learn and this is where I base my belief in that there is more than one life to be lived by us all...
To think that 75-80yrs is all you get here on earth is my opinion selling yourself short on experiances we may have in this beautiful world we inhabit as part of the journey...heck, why would you even want to leave this world untill you have seen it all...lived on every continent and shared in ALL of it's rich diversity of cultures.
You ask...what happens to us...what about us...how do we protect ourselves against the bad people in the world....STOP...Listen to what you say and ask...
It's all me, me, me...stop thinking you are so damn important as Joe Soap and realise that you are on a journey. You will be many people on earth before you leave it for good and realising that means it is easier to forgive people their sins by yourself.
Realise that you yourself are only responsible for your OWN actions. For a man to sin, even against you is for that man to stunt his own souls growth...not yours...it has no negative bareing on your life what so ever because you have done no wrong...but...
The moment you involve yourself through judging that person and feeling then need to retaliate in any way is for you to involve yourself and now the situation has bareing on your life and journey...
Forgiveness people...it is so very important...think about this below...it is a simple truth...
To truely forgive a man his sins is to ensure you yourself will never be capable of that sin yourself ever again.
