Understanding Overestimating Your Abilities

Overestimating your abilities means believing you can do more than you actually can, which can lead to disappointment. Recognizing your limits helps set realistic goals and improves performance. It’s common to overestimate skills, but self-awareness allows for better growth and achievement.

I think I have this problem. Frequently I think can do something but then when i actually do it, it proves very difficult to do. if you think you can do something, does it really mean you can actually do it?

I tend to look at this a bit different....I do not overestimate or underestimate my abilites....I just do what feels good, have fun with it and move on to the next adventure without having any expectations of my abilities - rather, I am not judging....after all, it is all relative.

What we do in each moment is the best that we can do because, we are doing it and as long as we are happy with ourselves in each moment then there is no room for disapointment only........ Acceptance.

Every Aries I know does, and that's not necessarily a bad thing in the whole scheme of things.

The only time it has really become an issue with the Rams I know is when they make it a competition, when they have clearly overestimated thier abilities .. so, naturally, once they fall-short, they can't see where they were defeated.

So long as it isn't made into a competition with another person, then there isn't any potential for them to have egg on their face.
