Fighting My Fire

This is my first post so let me start off by saying hello to everyone and thanks for stopping by.

I have been reading several descriptions all about Aries and I'm finding it hard to believe that the personality that is attached to my sign (April 7, 1968) doesn't fit me at all. I have the fire but sadly enough I don't know how to get in touch with it. Recently I fear that it has awakened and it's tired of waiting for me to fan the flames so it has begun to slowly burn ever so hot. I have been living my life for everyone else, always putting my dreams and aspirations on hold only to feel like life is just passing me by. I have this indescribable urge to just pack up my child and just run as fast and as far from here as I possible can...never looking back. I don't know what's driving me to this point but the urges inside me get stronger and stronger every passing day.

If someone could tell me what is going on with me I would really appreciate it. There are some really nice and informative people on these boards so I do welcome your comments and suggestions.

There's more to your astrological chart than just your sun sign.

You may have your sun in Aries, but perhaps your moon is in Pisces, or your Mercury may be in Libra.

Before I begin I would like to thank both peacelovehappiness and P-Angel for their insightful and very helpful comments. I did some research and discovered a site www.astrodreamadvisor.com and discovered my Mayan Oracle which is Red Solar Moon(thanks P-Angel)

As I was reading the in depth annalists of this oracle I discovered that what they were saying was exactly what I'm going through now. I have many unresolved issues in my past that I have been internalizing, which has resulted in a very massive weight gain, poor health and low self esteem. But lately as I stated earlier something has awakened within in and I do feel like there is a force slowly guiding me towards my future.

I'm still reading the description of Red Serpent, which seems to represent my higher self, but I wanted to let you guys know that I appreciate all the insights that you have given me.

Thanks DancingArianFlame for the comment. I feel that my fire has begun to burn again and that some unknown force is guiding my life. I have been doing a lot of reading lately about the Mayan beliefs about Astrology and discovered that what I'm going through is the natural progression of my spiritual enlightenment. My "third eye" as they put it has awakened in me and it is focusing my thoughts on my past, basically allowing me to replay events in my past so that I can confront them and move on. It's a healing journey that I must partake in before I can begin to live the life that the spirits are guiding me to. I do have one question though...when someone reignites their fire and allow it to burn just how hot and bright will it get? and will I be able to control it?

I was told that meditation is what I must do in order to "hear" the voices of my spiritual guide and to also follow the signals that my physical body is giving me. I have read about meditation and discovered that you must concentrate on a single point and allow the cosmic energy to enter. Exactly what point am I to concentrate on? My fire that is within me are on the "RED SERPENT" that is my spiritual guide.(Mayan Astrology)
