Ghosted by an aries?

I think I got ghosted by an aries? I was talking to an aries (m) long distance for 6 months now. Before the holiday season he was going on a trip to where he had no service so I was already expecting to not hear from him until the first week of January anyway. But, now it's been almost 3 weeks (since he left on 12/21 for the trip) and I haven't heard from him. I did call him but his phone is out of service now (he didn't block me I called from a different number and I get the same 'unavailable' message.) So basically, I don't know what to do besides wait? We also didn't fight or anything before he left so I really wasn't expecting this. I was wondering if anyone had this happen to them?

No we haven't met in person, we've facetimed and talked on the phone almost everyday for 6 months. We met through mutual friends but online. He lives in Cali, I'm in New York, we were supposed to meet for Valentine's Day

As shallow as it sounds, if he lost interest (and possibly got a new one) - yes? He will probably call back once his current pasture of interest is depleted.

I can’t say that I’m not guilty of this behavior. But over the years I learned not to string people along. I strive to give them a verbal explanation - I am into you, only fwb, I want to have sex once and nothing more, I want to date you, or I want to be potential partners etc

I mean I appreciate the honesty! I just would’ve rather had him end things than just disappear the way that he did? I also thought that too that while on vacation he met someone else, but I guess I won’t know unless he reaches out.

He appeared to be completely honest and transparent with me during the 6 months and he had the intention since July to come here in February. That priority can change one moment to the other? And for him to change his number that’s wild.

There could be other factors...maybe something happened to him, maybe he lost his phone, maybe he decided to stay a while longer...most likely this isn't the case but still possibilities.

That's the issue with fire signs....burn hot and burn out just as quickly. You'll hear from him again...I just wouldn't wait around till you do.

Yea I know I can’t rule out everything but it’s been so long he could’ve reached out by now if he really wanted to. I just don’t wanna admit it I thought this would ended differently.

And yea I’m w u I love fire signs some of my best relationships were with sagittarians. First time really being with an Aries and it’s an experience even long-distance.

Maybe he wandered too close to the natives on his vaca and got shot full of arrows.
